Silicon Graphics, Inc. Java provides media developers with a cross platform deployment mechanism which is both easy to deploy, and pervasive. Media elements including audio, video, images and 3D can now be created and accessed universally. Leveraging the ubiquity of Java is the current challenge to Java developers, content creators, and tool makers. Future tool suites will require robust Java development as a core to their offering.
